Opening times

The Sport Wales National Centre and its facilities will be closing for a 2-week period for essential electrical maintenance work.

Dates of closure: Monday 27th April until Friday 8th May 2026

The Centre will be open as normal from Saturday 9th May 2026.

Parking

We recommend travelling by public transport or active travel when visiting our centre. If you do choose to drive, we have:

  • 143 spaces near our centre’s entrance
  • 89 spaces nearby on grass – these depend on the weather and are only available March to October
  • 20 accessible and EV charging bays, directly next to our centre’s entrance

These spaces are not bookable and are free of charge while using our centre.

If there are no spaces available, you can also park at the Sophia Gardens pay-and-display car park. This car park is 5 minutes' walk from our centre.
