Having been a part of the Men’s Eight since 2018, Ollie will be making his Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020. A quarter of the Men’s Eight team will be Welsh as Ollie is joined by fellow Welshman, Josh Bugajski in the boat.

Not just a sportsman, Ollie majored in Political Science at Yale University while he was on an athletic scholarship where he continued to row alongside his studies.

Ollie started rowing at Radley College as a way to keep himself fit for the rugby season. As he grew to love rowing, dreams of being a professional second row for Wales were soon replaced by dreams of making the Olympic Games.

Following in the footsteps of his great-grandfather, Ollie will be representing Team GB at the Olympic Games. His great-grandfather rowed in Seat 6 for the Men’s Eight at LA 1932 and, 83 years later, Ollie will be sitting in the same seat when he goes for gold in the same event at Tokyo 2020.
