How to get a better understanding of your users

To design a system and a sporting offer which truly works for our users, we must develop empathy. To have empathy, we must understand users. To understand users, we must do research which delves into the mind and experiences of our target audience, uncovering their needs, motivations, and pain points.

“Empathy is at the heart of design; without understanding what others see, feel and experience, the design is a pointless task.” - Tim Brown

This CLIP session will begin to explore the world of user research and user experience, emphasising its importance, outlining pitfalls, and exploring various techniques to allow us to truly understand and therefore cater for our users.
