Safeguarding Officer
At Cricket Wales, safeguarding is not just a responsibility, it is a core foundation of our organisation and a non-negotiable priority. As one of the three pillars that underpin everything we do, safeguarding is central to achieving our vision of making Criced, A Sport for All. This means creating an environment where children, young people, and adults feel safe, respected, and included, wherever and however they participate in cricket across Wales. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Safeguarding Officer leads on both proactive and reactive safeguarding work, supporting a network of club and league officers, ensuring compliance with ECB and CPSU standards, and embedding best practice throughout the game.
