We are seeking an inspiring individual who is passionate about the value and impact of community sport and physical activity and the belief that everyone should be active together, for life.
This role will provide the leadership, energy, knowledge and skills to drive Active Gwent as a credible, innovative and sustainable partnership representing the whole of the Gwent region. Tasks will be varied, challenging, and often complex.
As a new sports partnership we have the opportunity to reshape how sport and exercise is delivered and promoted across Gwent . You will be working with the five local authorities, Sport Wales and key stakeholders within the region, introducing new ways of working.

Salary: £60,000- £70,000 per year (plus pension package).
Hours: Full-time flexible working hours within core periods. There is an expectation that the Regional Director might need to attend events/meetings outside of core periods.
Location: Remote, flexible with an expectation to regularly engage with partners across the region.
