Understanding the needs and motivations of Welsh speaking participants and families living in rural communities

Wales Academy for Health and Physical Literacy (WAHPL) was commissioned by Sport Wales to research the needs and motivations of Welsh speaking participants and families living in rural communities (West, Mid and North Wales). This report evaluates the research findings and draws insights from the data to inform recommendations for future consideration.

 

This report presents findings from this research in line with the following research question that informed the design of the questionnaire and selected interviews:

Research Question: What are the needs and motivations to take part in physical activities and sport of Welsh speaking participants and families living in rural communities in West, Mid and North Wales?
