As part of the count down and celebration of the Paralympic Games Paris 2024 and Deaflympic Games Tokyo 2025, Disability Sport Wales and Sport Wales are launching the UK Disability Inclusion Training Coaches & Volunteers and Education Level 1 courses free of charge!

In partnership with Sport Wales, Disability Sport Wales are able to provide free Level 1 Disability Inclusion Training to all coaches, volunteers, teachers, and education staff until April 2025.

The content covers:

  • Effective communication
  • Activity Inclusion Model
  • Creating a person-centred approach
  • Functional Model of disability
  • STEP framework.

Sign up today and complete 60-minutes of free learning to better understand how to make your sessions more inclusive of disabled people.

  • Content is available in English, Welsh and BSL. 
  • It can be completed at a convenient time that best suits you.
  • Contains videos, quizzes, and a certificate is awarded at the end.
  • Suitable for coaches, volunteers, teachers, education staff, and anyone involved in sport and physical activity. 
  • Only available until 1st April 2025

 

Once you have completed the UK Disability Inclusion Training for Coaches & Volunteers Level 1, you can then progress onto UK Disability Inclusion Training Coaches & Volunteers Level 2 and Level 3. You can enrol onto Level 2 and Level 3 here.
