Elite Cymru

Elite Cymru helps support athletes who are competing successfully on the world stage in individual, non-Olympic/Paralympic sports.

Elite Cymru can support talented athletes, who are on a trajectory to being selected onto a UK Sport funded World Class programme within a two year period, in a sport where the National Governing Body does not receive a national lottery funded performance award from Sport Wales.

Minimum consideration criteria will be agreed with the relevant national governing body prior to Elite Cymru funding being available.

Get in touch with your national governing body and local authority/leisure provider to find out if you're eligible for funding.
