  4. Leading with Impact: Inclusive Leadership for Welsh Sport

A practical, future-focused programme for those ready to turn influence into real impact.

About the programme

Leading with Impact is a high-energy, immersive leadership experience for people in positions of influence across Welsh sport.

Welsh sport needs leaders who go beyond ticking boxes. This programme is about tangible, lasting change – in yourself, your organisation, and across the system.

By joining, you will:

  • Confront assumptions and sharpen your leadership through immersive, challenging experiences.
  • Gain fresh perspectives from diverse voices inside and outside sport.
  • Strengthen the courage and clarity to lead change with confidence and impact.

What you’ll experience

This is not passive learning - you’ll be challenged to think, act, and lead differently.

  1. Immersive and hands-on – real-life leadership challenges, scenarios, and activities.
  2. Fresh perspectives – bold stories and new ideas from other sectors.
  3. Practical tools – tangible strategies to shift culture and drive real change.
  4. Peer support – work and learn alongside a small, diverse group of leaders from the sector.

Why take part?

  • Personal growth: Sharpen your leadership to challenge and change the status quo.
  • Organisational impact: Embed inclusion in decisions, policies, and culture.
  • System change: Influence governance and outcomes across Welsh sport.
  • Peer network: Join a small, diverse cohort and connect with innovators.
  • Value: Direct investment in you by Sport Wales.
