Natalie is going to Tokyo 2020 this summer to win the Olympic Gold medal. Admitting it’s her last shot, she is hoping to better her 7th place performance at Rio 2016 to get place on the podium at this year's Olympics.
If Natalie wins a medal, the 30 year old will become the first Welsh judoka to do so after becoming the first Welsh judoka to compete at the Olympic Games back in 2016.
What club did Natalie start judo at?
It was at home with Irfon Judo Club in Builth Wells that Natalie first learned her craft. She joined the British programme before seeking a change in approach and returning to Wales to train at Sport Wales National Centre.

Denise Lewis’ Gold-winning Heptathlon performance at Sydney 2000 was Natalies first Olympic memory. Being into all sport, she loved that Denise was able to be the best at everything and inspired Natalie to want to succeed at the Olympic Games
