If it wasn’t for the pandemic postponing Tokyo 2020 by a year, Josh wouldn’t have the opportunity to make his Olympic debut this summer. After sleeping awkwardly on a flight to a training camp in Namibia, Josh had suffered a freak nerve injury which prevented use of the right side of his back and right arm.

Josh will be a part of the Men’s Eight in Tokyo and he’ll be joined in the boat by fellow Welsh athlete, Ollie Wynne-Griffith.

What club did Josh start rowing at?

As well as Rebecca Muzerie, Josh was another Team GB athlete who was introduced to rowing by Cardiff University.
