Hannah will be looking to clinch her third Olympic medal at her third Olympic games. After a Silver in London 2012, Hannah went one better in Rio 2016 with a Gold. Winning another Gold in Tokyo would make Hannah the world’s most successful female Olympic sailor.

What club did Hannah start sailing at?

After giving sailing a go on a family trip to Cornwall, Hannah took it up as a hobby on her return to Wales. At 8 years old, Hannah started sailing at Llanishen Sailing Centre where her first coach, Anne Barrett helped her fall in love with sailing.

Hannah openly admits that her life revolves around winning an Olympic Gold medal. But she has become equally as passionate about the environment. This is why Hannah has used her sporting platform to launch The Big Plastic Pledge which aims to ‘eradicate single use plastic in sport.’
