Weather extremes such as winter flooding and summer heatwaves have the potential to adversely affect sport participation, so Sport Wales is prioritising the fight against climate change to ensure that we deliver an environment in which sport can continue to thrive for future generations.
We are committed to taking actions to reduce our own carbon footprint as well as leading the wider Welsh sport sector so that improvements can be made on a greater scale.
To help with this, we want to fully understand the Welsh sport sector’s needs so that we can support clubs and organisations to become more environmentally sustainable.
Until the 19th of May we are inviting sports clubs in Wales to complete a short survey to share their views on this important topic.
So, whether you’re just starting to think about environmental actions or already have initiatives in place, we’d love to hear from you to discover the challenges you’re facing and how we can support you.
The survey takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete and every club that takes part will be entered into a free prize draw to have a chance of winning a £100 voucher.
