Episode 1

The first episode features Tiger Bay Boxing Club, a community club based in the heart of Butetown, which - thanks to a National Lottery grant from Sport Wales - has grown from just four boys attending to becoming a major force in the area, attracting up to 150 boxers a week from a huge range of different backgrounds in this diverse community.

There is also a profile of Clwb Beicio Hiraethog, a cycling club with a difference in Conwy, which uses e-bikes to give a bit of help to people who would normally struggle to cycle up the challenging hills in the area.  Presenter Dan Jardine tries out the bikes for himself and finds out how getting out on a bike in the fresh air has made a life-changing difference to club member Noreen, who had been previously unable to exercise due to knee problems.

Finally, Mica Moore takes a look at what it takes to become an elite bowls player, by talking to Welsh international Sara Nicholls about the difference that National Lottery funding has meant to her, and how the support that it funds through Sport Wales has enabled her and her fellow Welsh bowlers to compete against the best in the world in their sport.
